Mrs. Vivian A. Cheatem Correthers was born July 3, 1946 to Abram and Nannie Cheatem in Evansville, Indiana.
Vivian attended school in Evansville. She relocated to Indianapolis in 1964 and was united in Holy Matrimony to James “Slim” Correthers. To this union, one child, Christopher was born. She was employed with the State of Indiana and later became self-employed with her husband.
Vivian loved travel, even as far as China. She really loved her dogs.
As a member of the Puritan Missionary Baptist Church, she was a member of the usher board and the dance ministry.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, James; 9 brothers and 1 sister. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: son, Christopher (Kelly) Correthers; stepdaughter, Kim (Gregory) Graves; granddaughter (whom she loved dearly), Alyssa Correthers; grandson, Chase Correthers (I love you Chase); step-grandson, Kevin Smith; great grand-daughters, Denym and Demyr; step-granddaughter, Aniya; sister, Barbara Cheatem along with a host of nephews and cousins to include a special cousin, Cheryl Livers and special friend, Barbara Shropshire.
