Gregory Benjamin Obituary

Gregory Haneef Benjamin was born on May 29th, 1986 to Michael and Vida Benjamin.  He had a presence and a smile that lit up the room.

Gregory was a student of the Indianapolis Public School System. He    attended IPS #11,  then John Marshall Middle School and he graduated from Arlington High School.

Gregory was born with a good heart.  He never met a stranger.  Music was the song of his soul.  He loved everything about it.  He lived music.  His children and family were the only things that he loved more than music.

Gregory worked many jobs but his favorite was working at Promiseland Daycare with the many children he got to serve.  His relationship with Christ started with Caring Place Reach children’s ministry.  He was a member of The Caring Place Church and played a leading role in his family coming to Christ.

Gregory went from labor to reward on Sunday, March 24th in his home.

Gregory is survived by his parents, Michael and Vida Benjamin of Indianapolis; his siblings, Jamar (Tiffany) Johnson of Centerville, Virginia,  Rosa Mial of Indianapolis,  Michael (Janalee) Mial of Indianapolis and Randall (Jessica) Benjamin of Indianapolis; his children, Gregory Benjamin Jr., Tyrelle Benjamin, Tyre Benjamin (Tierra Polk) and Brynlee Benjamin (Cortney Oatts) all of Indianapolis; His grandmother, Mattie Palmer of Philadelphia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
