Mr. Michael Allen Cox “Mike” was born March 19, 1965 to Gordon and Paula Cox in Indianapolis, Indiana where he attended Arsenal Technical High School.
Mike loved the Lord and gave his life to Christ at a very early age. He was a very loving but fearless man that had a natural instinct to protect all that he loved. Mike was also a selfless man who was very generous and never put himself first. He considered everyone’s needs a priority.
Mike loved his family very much and was truly at his best when surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grandchildren and was a sports enthusiast with a passion for UFC fights. Mike always jokingly said he was a 4-time Golden Glove champion and the ultimate sex symbol. (LOL).
Mike was very charismatic and full of personality. He met no strangers and to everyone he gave his best.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Cox; father, Gordon Cox; daughter, Prosha Cox; and son, Cortney Cox.
Mr. Michael Allen Cox leaves to cherish his loving memory: his children, Asia Cox, Maria Cox, Ebony (Kenneth) Chowning, Precious Cox, Rosa Bailey and Michael Cox Jr.; grandchildren: Essence, Eli, Kaycee, Makenzie, Kenneth Jr,, and Niobi; brothers: Ricky (Mary) Cox, Joey (Dawn) Cox and Jeffery Cox, uncles, Jessie (Inell) Wheeler and George Weathers; aunts, Claudine (Tony) Stewart and Silvia Glover along with a host of extended family and friends.
Michael, dad and brother, you will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We love you.
