Jackie Ann (Owens) Williams

Jackie Ann Owens-Williams, daughter of Jack and Mary Kate Owens, was born June 5, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana

Jackie attended Riverside School #44 and Crispus Attucks High School. She graduated from Wood High School, Indianapolis, IN.  She was employed with Eli Lilly & Company for over 10 years.

Jackie professed her faith at a very young age. She was a proud member of the New Haven Missionary Baptist Church, Bishop C.H. McClain Jr., Senior Pastor.

Outside of her physical beauty, our sweet Jackie was the kindest person you would ever want to meet. She did not speak as much as she observed but had such a big and beautiful presence. Jackie loved her family so deeply and dearly. Her pleasant and polite demeanor never went unnoticed. 

Jackie’s interests included family gatherings and trips. She loved going out to dinner, movies and staying at nice hotels. Jackie loved to decorate and spread cheer all year long, however, Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She loved and adored her grandchildren so very much.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Owens Sr. and brothers, Billy Owens, Jeremiah Owens and James Owens.

Jackie Ann Owens-Williams passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2019.  Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family, mother, Mary Kate Owens; children, Charles Owens, Antwan Owens (Darshie) and Sade Owens-Williams; grandchildren: Jada, Anila, Ariya , Sanaa Jade, Quran Jeremiah, Osiah, Adria, Elijah, Elisha, Antwan Jr, Geon ,King and Datwan.

Jackie is forever treasured by her sisters and brothers: Beverly (Errol Sr.) Owens-Kerns, Linda (Rodney) Owens-Miller, Sheila (Michael) Owens-Barnes, Katrina (Rodney) Owens-Robinson, Adrian (Adenike) Owens and Jack (Kamilah) Owens Jr.

Jackie is forever loved by hosts of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
