The man EVERYONE loved! The legend, Mr. Fredrick Anthony, 80 of Bowling Green, KY passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Pleasantview Lodge Nursing Facility in McCordsville, IN.
Born September 2, 1938 in Bowling Green , KY., the son of the late Thomas and Ann Anthony. He joined the U.S. Army in September 1962 and was honorably discharged after dedicated service.
Fred was a talented and meticulous carpenter, mechanic and comedian with remarkable penmanship. He enjoyed old western movies, writing, handyman work, socializing with friends, riding his bike and White Castle.
Fred was LOVED by everyone! Laughter was guaranteed. He never met a stranger, and he was sure to put a smile on your face with each and every interaction with him. The opportunity to be in his presence was an offer you could not refuse.
Fred will be deeply missed by his wife, Martha E. Anthony; daughters, Katina (Mitchell) Washington, and Debra Highsaw; sons, Anthony Highsaw, Jeffrey Holland and Derrick Holland.
He also leaves his sisters, Nancy Beason, Theresa Burnam, Carolyn Allen and Camelia Hunter. He was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Charles, Thomas Jr., Henry and Richard Anthony and three sisters, Shirley Ferguson, Mary Ann Anthony and Marilyn Potter along with a host of family and friends.
